Christina Ricci was born on February 12, 1980 in Santa Monica, California, USA. She is a popular American actress. Precocious, outspoken child-teen starlet of the 1990s, she is the the youngest of 4 children of a lawyer father and realtor mother. She was discovered by a movie critic all by luck in a bathroom.

Christina made her screen debut at the age of nine in Mermaids in which she worked with Cher and Winona Ryder. Then she signed the role of Wednesday in The Addams Family. However her big break thorugh which established her as a star child came up with "Casper." The film was lambasted by critics, but alas, embraced by audiences. Christina had a few roles - in the touching tale of young girls becoming women in "Now and Then" and forgetable roles like "That Darn Cat."

Christina stepped up and made a name for herself completely separate of her kid roles. The Ice Storm, Ang Lee's powerful 70s drama, was the film that saw Christina grow up. She displayed her amazing ability in the critically acclaimed role of Wendy. But, before critics could write her out, Christina popped out three huge indie successes that dropped her on the list of 'A-List Hollywood Actresses': Pecker, The Opposite of Sex, and Buffalo '66. The Opposite of Sex received the most praise, as it was also Lisa Kudrow's (Friends) turn to step out and prove herself.

The most incredible part of her carreer are the roles she never got to play. She was been turned down for roles in Jurassic Park, Little Women, Titanic (as Rose), Lolita (as Lolita), Batman & Robin, and Romeo + Juliet (as Juliet). If she had gotten even one of these major roles, she might be an even bigger star today.

Off the screen, Christina's best friend is "Now and Then" costar Gaby Hoffman. She is currently living with boyfriend Matthew Frauman. She works on the national board of VOX-Voices for Planned Parenthood, which works to promote the mission of Planned Parenthood to young adults. She will also be appearing in national ads for Emergency Contraception.

Charlize Theron was born on August 7th, 1975 in Benoni, South Africa. She was the only child of Afrikaaner parents who owned both a road construction company and a farm. As she was raised here she experienced a thoroughly rural upbringing that included (naturally) getting up at the crack of dawn to milk the cows. She was however very interested in the movies for which she yelled and shouted to her parents so that they could get her a VCR. She started taking ballet lessons at the age of six.

Eventually her study of ballet landed the talented teen at a school for the performing arts in Johannesburg, where she occasionally sat in on drama classes. As a result of that casual interface, the striking 16-year-old stumbled upon a modeling contest, which she entered and won. Just weeks before her wholly serendipitous introduction to the world of modeling, Theron's father had passed away, and when an Italian fashion scout informed her that there was a modeling contract awaiting her in Milan, the unassuming South African farm girl was seized by a sudden ambition to travel and try something new. Though a moderate success on the runways, Theron was unable to land any major modeling contracts or cover shots, and eventually the newness of her latest endeavor wore thin. When an American magazine flew her to New York for a photo shoot, she decided to stick around and make a new life for herself in the States.

People were first introduced to the seductive charm of Charlize Theron in her feature film debut, MGM's 2 Days in the Valley. Starring with James Spader, Eric Stoltz, and Jeff Daniels, it was the bizarre story of what happens to the lives of ten people in the San Fernando Valley who cross paths over 48 hours. Theron played Helga, Spader's partner and love interest, who can't get enough of the danger that surrounds her. Even among an ensemble cast, Theron gave a standout performance.

In early 1997, Theron starred in Jonathan Lynn's Trial and Error for New Line Cinema opposite Michael Richards and, 2 Days in the Valley co-star, Jeff Daniels. In the fall of the same -year, she appeared on the big screen once again co-starring with Al Pacino and Keanu Reeves in the Warner Brothers thriller, Devil's Advocate.

Extraordinary talent was all Tom Hanks needed to see to cast Theron in his directorial debut, That Thing You Do!. The two time Academy Award-winning actor brought this story to film from the script he authored. It told the tale of a small town rock band, "The Wonders" and the hit song that brings them fame. Theron portrayed Tina, Guy's (Tom Everett Scott) hometown girlfriend who is less than dazzled by "The Wonders" overnight success.

Theron has risen to the challenge of a variety of roles in a rather short period of time. Audiences saw Theron star in Woody Allen's Celebrity for which she received rave reviews and Mighty Joe Young opposite Bill Paxton for Disney. She starred opposite Johnny Depp in New Line Cinema's The Astronaut's Wife.

Theron played Candy Kendall in the widely acclaimed and Oscar- nominated The Cider House Rules by Miramax, which was based on the novel by John Irving. The same year she starred in John Frankenheimer's Reindeer Games with Ben Affleck. Next, Theron played Adelle in Robert Redford's The Legend of Bagger Vance with Will Smith and Matt Damon.

Other roles include Fox 2000's Navy Diver with Robert DeNiro and Cuba Gooding, Jr., directed by George Tillman, Jr. In 2001, Theron was seen in The Yards, directed by James Grey. The drama starred Mark Wahlberg, Joaquin Phoenix, James Caan and Faye Dunaway. Also released in 2001, were Sweet November, 24 Hours and Miramax's Waking Up In Reno.

Charisma Carpenter was born on July 23rd 1970 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA. Performing Arts was her stream of interest. Right from the very childhood she was interested in different performing arts. At the young age of 5, she wa already studying classical ballet.

She really enjoyed living in the fast paced Las Vegas but suddenly her parents decided to move to Mexico. It was at this point that Charisma decided to attend the School of Creative and Performing Arts and do the one-hour commute from Mexico to San Diego. After she finally graduated high school, Charisma, like many other young women, decided to tour Europe upon returning to San Diego once again, she began working odd jobs to support herself, such as video store clerk, aerobics instructor and, in 1991, she even spent some time working as a cheerleader for the San Diego Chargers.
Soon after that, Charisma moved to Los Angeles and took up a job as a waitress on Sunset Boulevard. But she wasn't an aspiring actress at the time; Charisma was saving money so that she could return to school to become an English teacher.
Her fate, however, was headed in a very different direction. While she was working one day, a commercial agent discovered her and recommended that she attend a variety of acting schools. After sorting through all the schools and courses offered, Charisma decided to attend Playhouse West, a reputable acting school.
Because she quickly realized how passionate she was about acting, Charisma remained there for 18 months to study the techniques and drama. While she was still in school, she began doing a multitude of commercials. After approximately 20 of them, she got her first real acting break on Baywatch in 1994.
Almost two years after her guest appearance on the show, Charisma landed a starring role on Aaron Spelling's Malibu Shores. Unfortunately, the show, which also starred Keri Russell, was short-lived and, once again, Charisma was left without a solid acting job.
But Charisma's luck was finally about to change. Luckily enough, her agent sent her out to audition for Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 1997. Initially, she tried out for the part of the lead character, Buffy, which ultimately went to Sarah Michelle Gellar. But the producers asked her to try out for the part of Cordelia and, lo and behold, she was picked for the part instantly.
After two years on Buffy, Charisma was offered a co-starring role opposite David Boreanaz on the spin-off show Angel, and she eagerly accepted, even though she would continue to play the same bratty, snobby character.
In the meantime, Charisma appeared in The Groomsmen (2001) and the made-for-TV movie See Jane Date (2003). She also made guest appearances on four episodes of Miss Match with Alicia Silverstone, as well as on Charmed with Alyssa Milano and Rose McGowan.
she married her boyfriend of five years, actor Damian Hardy, in October 2002. They had a baby in March 2003 and they currently reside in Los Angeles.
