Biography :
Alyson Hannigan was born as Allison Lee Hannigan on March 24, 1974, in Washington, D.C. She was born to Al, a truck driver, and Emilie, a real estate agent. her parents however divorced in 1976. This is when Alyson moved to Atlanta. There she attended the Northside School of the Performing Arts, and her early interests included playing the clarinet and soccer. Acting came to Alyson at avery young age. She was just fout when she featured in commercials sponsoring such companies as McDonald's, Six Flags, and Oreos.





Her big break however came when Alyson was fourteen. She recieved a part as Dan Akroyd's daughter in My Stepmother is an Alien. She later had roles on such early-'90s TV fare as Roseanne, Picket Fences, Touched by an Angel, and Almost Home. In 1992, she graduated from North Hollywood High School, and went on to study psychology at California State University.





Hannigan's big break finally came in 1997. She was hired to replace another actress who had played the part of Willow Rosenberg in the pilot for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, the new TV series based on the 1992 cult movie of the same name, with Sarah Michelle Gellar in the title role. As the series took off, so did Hannigan's career. Alyson's "Willow" set the standard for bawdy, nerdy lesbian witches everywhere; so much so that she made appearances on Buffy's popular spin-off, Angel.





The Show was a big success. this paved the way for Hannigan to appear opposite Tom Everett Scott in the 1998 comedy Dead Man on Campus. American Pie followed the next year, giving Hannigan wider recognition and making her an unintentional poster child for band camps everywhere. A small stint in the Jason Biggs/Freddie Prinze Jr. flop Boys and Girls (2000) did little to further her career, but thanks to a beefed-up part from writer Adam Herz, Hannigan found herself revisiting the sexually advanced but socially backward Michelle in 2001's high-profile sequel American Pie 2. Though critics were mixed on the franchise's sophomore offering, they praised Hannigan's ability to fully flesh out a character who essentially served as an elaborate punch line in the first film.





On a personal note after a long fling with Ginger Fish, the actress started seeing fellow Angel co-star Alexis Denisof. In 2002, Denisof proposed, and the couple, who recently bought a house in Sacramento, CA, are planning to wed in the fall of 2003. Alicia Silverstone was born on was born on October 4,1976, in San Francisco, California. She was born to parents of English decent. her mother was Didi a former airline stewardness and father a real estate owner. A clear cut career was set up for Alicia at a very small age when her father noted how beautiful his daughter is. He started taking photographs of his daughter and thus started the modelling career for her at an age of eight. Alicia got modeling jobs for YSL, Levis' Dockers, and Marshall's. She also took some ballet classes and won 4th place at a contest.





She took an intensive acting class at the age of twelve (sources range from twelve to thirteen) from Judi O'Neill. While in Los Angeles for a showcase, Carolyn Kessler saw her and became her agent and later a good friend. She then moved to Los Angeles, where she attended Beverly Hills High School for a short time. Soon after hiring Kessler Alicia got the commercial for Dominos Pizza. Then she also grabbed a guest role in "Wonder Years". She then signed up for The Crush for which she won Best Villain and Breakthrough Performance at the MTV Movie Awards for The Crush. After doing The Crush Alicia made a couple movies for television: Torch Song and Scattered Dreams.

Clueless was an unexpected hit, which catapulted Alicia's career. Alicia won numerous awards for the movie Clueless. After Clueless, Barry Josephon of Columbia Pictures signed Alicia to a two picture deal for $7 million. Alicia took less money so she could produce the films as well. The first film on the Columbia Pictures deal was Excess Baggage, which she produced with her First Kiss Production Company. Excess Baggage wasn't a huge hit at the box office. She has also nabbed the role of Batgirl in the fourth Batman movie, Batman And Robin. Batman And Robin also wasn't as huge as some would hope, but did farely well with the box office numbers.





She made a comeback in 1999 with Blast the Past. Alicia is a very good person at heart. The biggest example for the statement is the incident where Alicia found a dog that was hit by a car and was ill. Alicia took in the dog, Samson, and now it's part of the family. Alicia is a avid animal rights activist. She is involved with several animal rights groups such as The Ark Trust (gives out the Genesis Awards), PETA (People For The Ethical Treatment of Animals), and Last Chance for Animals.
